The Last Words
Gun control
Creative campaign ( Website, UI/UX design )
Guns are a serious problem in America. The tragedy of campus shootings continue to happen again and again. Without passing common sense gun-control legislation, students will remain in danger.
Message
"I might be next." Pressure the government to pass gun-control legislation by inviting students say out their last words on the website, then real-time bombarded sending distracted FAXs to the governments.
Goal
To engage high school students in America to be part of gun control solutions.
Step 1- Engage target audience
Survivors from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting will record their powerful "last words" in short video advertisements.
The ads will be shown on YouTube to direct viewers to the campaign website ── ourlastwords.com.
Step 2- Get involved
Write or record their “last words”
- If you were to get shot tomorrow, what would you want to say, and what gun control policy would you change?
On the website, students are encouraged to record a video or write about their fears, hopes and gun control policy recommendations.
Students can easily share their “last words” to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other social media sites, making this campaign go viral.
Pressure the government and be part of gun control solutions
- FAX to state and federal government representatives - real-time.
FAX is more distracted than Email. Every time a student uploads a video or a letter, our website is going to send a FAX automatically to totally distract the representative office. This is going to be bombarded and continual.
US Map Instantly Updated
By submitting their "last words" and a zip code, the map will show real-time participation by state.
And also what top 4 gun control policy people wanted to pass.
